Dallin's talent

I think Dallin has come a long way. He is practicing Christmas songs and "We're off to see the wizard". Maybe I'll record that and show you later.

Caught red handed

I was working out the garage yesterday, when Dallin came out yelling,"Mom, come quick, Abby's making a mess with the juice." I said, "Well, clean it up." Well I ended up following him into the house and saw Abby playing in the pool of RED kool-aid all over the counter. It was easy to clean up, but not her hands. She had red hands for the rest of the day.

New do's for summer

Before
Elsa was begging me to cut her hair for a couple of days. I finally worked up enough courage to cut her hair. (I do good to cut the boys hair, I wasn't sure about girls). Look how long it was! It makes me sad that I chopped it off. Then again, it is pretty cute now. I can't believe I cut it and it actually looks good.
After
We got lot of compliments at church the next day. So I guess I did do a good job after all. Elsa's little friend, Francis, came up to her and said, "Elsa, your hair looks adorable!" She's so funny because she tries to act so grown up. Elsa likes her a lot and she is good for Elsa. Before
After seeing Elsa get her hair cut, Abby wanted hers cut too. After
We got a lot of compliments on her hair too. I couldn't believe how thick her hair was already. This haircut will make it thicker and healthier too. What a cutie pie!

Fourth of july AND Great Grandma's 90th birthday

What great fun we all had! Starr Valley is so great, and beautiful. Even though my allergies were "killing me". It's so amazing to think of all the memories I made with my siblings and cousins growing up are continuing with mine and everyone's kids. For example, The creek; Listening to Aunt Beth telling stories of her watching her children playing in the creek and now, 3 generations later our kids are playing in it. What a great source of entertainment that ol' creek gave and still gives.

Next, Grandma Dahl; What a great lady. I can only hope to be as healthy, independent, and active as she is at 90 years old. We love you Grandma!
Of course every little girl has too dance, kiss, hug, whatever with Randolph. He's one lucky man.
All the girls love him, and the boys just climb him. The pictures are of Calvin in 2005 and Elsa
then too.

Little Maisy is sooo cute. I finally got her to smile by the time it was time for me to go home. Well, we'll have to see her again real soon before she forgets my face.

Abby's new ride

Abby found that helping Mom with the housework CAN be fun!
