Our budding artist

These are some of the drawings Elsa did. She is so talented, funny, and creative.

More news

Dallin, making his boat for the raingutter ragatta for cub scouts. Calvin and Abby wish they could make one too.

Calvin lost another tooth. Yea! Here it is, he's so proud. He got 1 whole quarter. The "toothfairy" almost forgot to come. In the morning, before Calvin woke up, Clint was getting ready for work and remembered to do it. Good thing he goes to work early.

See how fast they grow

Abby is all ready for church.

We had a ward activity at the park in Boulder City, just south of Vegas. The kids had fun. The boys got so wet in the water. Of course, I didn't get any pictures of that. The girls had a blast though. The boys brought their skateboards and bikes, because there was a little skate/bike park nearby. They soon realized when they got there that its not as easy as it looks.

First day of school....Already?!

Elsa is all ready to go to school. Although she needed coaxing to go in the classroom. She did great the second day. She just needed to know that everything was O.K. and her teacher was still nice.
Dallin is very excited for 3rd grade and the G.A.T.E. program. The first day of G.A.T.E. he came home saying that it was so fun and he loved it. Calvin loves his 1st grade class and his teacher. His teacher said that he is so fun to have in class too. He's getting to know lots of kids in his class. (Even the girls)
Now that Abby can count to ten, she can wear her olives on her fingers. I tried to put them on my fingers. They didn't fit like when I was a kid. Abby's lucky.
Abby is all ready to go out and play. she loves being outside. Crazy girl. She doesn't care how hot it is. It is cooling down. Today it only got up to 102*. Still hot, but not like has been.

This is cute Abby counting to ten. One night when I was trying to get Elsa ready for bed, I started to count. "1..." then Abby said,"two...bwee... and so forth" What a smartie! You have to listen really well. She says all of the numbers except one and four.

Well, on Friday, I decided to set up a little studio in our home and take pictures. I hadn't done it in a while so I thought it was time. The kids seemed to have fun with it.Here are just a few of the pictures I took.

I put more on www.myfamily.com if anyone wants to see more. It was fun taking pictures of these kids. I should do it more often and I will.

Another school year passed.....what a year it was!

This is Calvin at his kindergarten promotion ceremony. He did really well with his part. If you would like to see the video you can go to myfamily.com and watch it if you haven't yet. Besides receiving his kindergarten diploma, he also received the outstanding citizenship award. There is only one of those given each trimester and Calvin got it in his class and Dallin got it in his class too. I was pleasantly surprised. This was his teacher, Mrs. McCartney. She was a good teacher. Earlier in the year, Calvin would tell anyone that would listen that he had the best teacher in the whole school.
Dallin is receiving his Bobcat award. He is pinning my pin on me. He was so excited to finally get it. He earned it at the beginning of July, but wasn't there for pack meeting in July, we were in Utah. Anyway, he finally got it last week.
This one of the cute pictures of Abby. I think she looks so much like the Singers here. She looks like Clint's baby pictures. Clint doesn't think so. Actually, she looks more like his sisters baby pictures. Anyway, she's so cute!!!

I love a quiet house!!!

There is nothing sweeter than clean kids just out of the bath, and their hair combed, teeth brushed and in bed, (on time), the dishes done so now I have time to do what I want. Which right now I'm taking this opportunity to update this.
We just got back from an awesome week in Utah. It was so fun to see everyone, especially little Nigel. Micah and Camille had their baby boy last wee
kend. He was 6 weeks early, so he has to stay in the hospital until he can gain weight and keep it on. He weighed 5 lbs. 5oz. and was 18 in. long. He is so cute! Another great thing happened while we were there, Cedric and Sarah got sealed in the temple. It was such a wonderful day. The Salt Lake Temple was so beautiful. It was my first time inside the Salt Lake Temple. I love to go to the temple and feel my Saviors love for me, and I'm so glad that now Sarah and Ceddy can go inside with the rest of the family when we go. I'm so glad for temples!
We also, celebrated Dad's 60th birthday. He sur
e looks good for 60.
Then, the next day, we went camping. The campsite was great. There was a river that ran right by our site. The kids had fun going down it
on the innertube Tavan and Melissa brought. Jeff and Hannah had fun standing down stream a little ways catching the kids as they floated down the river.
We then, went to Uncle Sterling's house for the b
ig Anderson reunion. On the way there, Clint called and said he wouldn't make it. When we finally got there, I had just finished eating when Mom said that she saw Clint drive up in his truck. I said, "what?" It's true Clint is a liar. Just kidding, he surprised me. He also brought up the yellow 4 wheeler, and two of the kids 4 wheelers. Everyone had a blast! Especially, Kyuss and Clayton. They loved to go fast on them. They did pretty well too. Well, then, like all good vacations, this one came to an end. We packed up on Saturday, and left to go home. Here are some pictures of our Awesome week!!

For some reason the last pictures I uploaded appeared first . So, fourth of July is after the Dahl reunion. Oh well, I always have to get a picture of someone with Randolph. He's pretty popular with the kiddies. He IS in the perfect position to dance. This year Abby liked to dance with him.
Of course, What's a Dahl reunion without Uncle Mark and his horse and buggy.
The only pictures we got this year was the great grandkids and Grandma and her kids. No one was cooperating and I think Aunt Jennifer gave up on trying to get everyone together. The kids are so cute. Don't you agree?

The girls watching the fireworks.
James loved watching the fireworks too.
Happy Birthday Grandma! Wow! 89 years old. She looks great doesn't she.
This reunion was a great one. We missed Micah and Camille, Tavan and Melissa, all of Drew's family. But it was great to see everyone else. We had so much fun.
Fourth of July was so fun. We had a great day. Clint and some scouts in our ward finished our patio cover. Yea! it's done. Then, later that day Anthony, Danielle, and little James came over and had a bbq with us and did fireworks with us. The kids loved the sparklers the best I think.

Abby really did like sparklers, maybe she didn't like her picture being taken. She loved watching Dad set off the fireworks.
