I love this country!

I am so grateful for all those who fought for my freedom. This Memorial day we celebrated by doing things together. First, we went out early in the morning and rode 4 wheelers. The kids, all, did so much better this time. I was really surprised to see Abby enjoying herself on a 4 wheeler.Calvin wanted to take Abby for a ride, but I didn't think that was a good idea. Sorry Calvin maybe when you're a little older and more experienced. Here is James pretending to ride. He loved it! Just like his Mom and Dad
Dallin did great too. (As you can see in the pictures and movies). Then, later that day we had a BBQ with Clint's sister, Danielle, her husband, Anthony and James, who also came 4 wheeling. We had a good time. The best part of the day was the end, after Uncle Anthony and Aunt Danielle left. Clint gathered the kids together and talked to them about why we celebrate Memorial Day. It turned out to be a really good conversation, with the boys. (The girls weren't interested, yet.) It's always so nice to see Clint take his role as father seriously and teach our children something valuable. He also has been so great at showing the kids that he respects me and the kids. Saturday, before Memorial day, we were cleaning the house and Dallin was complaining that it wasn't fair and "why should I have to clean up?" I told Dallin, for the 50th time, to just do it. Clint happened to be in the room and said to Dallin.
"Do what your Mother says."
"Why?" says Dallin
"Because we all have to help out around here." says Clint
It may not seem very big to some people, but it was a big deal to me. What a great guy.
On May 29th we celebrated our 10th anniversary and I am happy to report that I love him more today then I did when we first were married. We still have a long ways to go until our marriage is perfect, so I guess I'm glad we have all eternity.
